Fire Emblem is full of characters and classes, to the point it may be Nintendo’s largest cast of named individuals when taken as a whole. Amongst all the Lords and dragons and even gods rests a man out to make a living out of a covered wagon. Now he and others from the Binding Blade are carting into Fire Emblem Heroes.
Merlinus is a character I wasn’t expecting to make it into Heroes, but here we are. Granted he’s not that impressive at this introductory glance, but that’s absolutely in character for the merchant turned advisor. He’s joined by Melady, Dieck, and Guinivere in this focus. Guinivere in particular looks like a powerful pick-up, built entirely around countering magic users to the point of her weapon being effective against them regardless of color.
They will arrive in-game tonight, Monday, November 16th, at 11 p.m. PT. This also marks the final story chapter for Heroes’ Book IV plot, setting the stage for future developments for the Order of Heroes.
