Have you ever wanted to create your own Pokémon t-shirt design? If so, you’re in luck, as the Pokémon Design Lab is launching in Japan.

The Pokémon Design Lab machine uses four base patterns to start with, and then allows you to choose different art or stamp designs based-on the original 151 Pokémon from Red and Green to finish off your shirt. The service will be available starting November 20th at Pokémon Center Shibuya, and with shirts starting at ¥3,300 ($31.47).

If you’re in Japan you can also apply to be among the first to test out the Pokémon Design Lab on November 6th; there will be 400 people invited via a lottery system.

In addition to the launch of the Pokémon Design Lab, the next release in the Crystal Stone series is ready to shine. Featuring Swarovski crystals, the latest designs feature a Mew charm, Pikachu charm, and three different Pokéballs to choose from. All will be available on November 20th and range in price from ¥11,000 ($104.91) to ¥77,000 ($734.31).

So, what are your thoughts on the new Pokémon Design Lab? Genius creation or overpriced novelty?
