As per every new fighter, Minecraft’s Steve has joined not just the roster but the massive mural featuring every Super Smash Bros. Ultimate playable character (and Mr. Saturn). Unlike the rest though he gets a little more creative with his arrival:

There he is, digging his way up through the stage itself with pickaxe in hand. Think what you will about the inclusion, but it’s a nice touch that’s true to the character.
