Jump Rope Challenge was, and I say this in all seriousness, one of the biggest Switch surprises this year. Out of nowhere came this free, simple, exercise game that would only be available for a limited time. Well that time was going to be up today, but Nintendo decided to follow up one surprise with another.
Thanks to all players of #JumpRopeChallenge for recording 2.5 billion total jumps! As new jumpers are joining, the free download will be available until further notice and will not be removed from Nintendo #eShop on 9/30. pic.twitter.com/P9g7dXmmZe

That’s right, Jump Rope Challenge is staying around “until further notice”! Anyone who hasn’t hopped onto the eShop can still claim the game and get their bodies moving. They wouldn’t be the only ones either, as it was also announced that players have totaled 2.5 billion jumps since mid-June. I’d expect nothing less from a game that continues the legacy of Badge Arcade Bunny in some small part.
