Kanto’s famous legendary bird trio are now taking turns again in the world of Pokémon GO. Articuno had its turn, so therefore we go to the #2 bird – Zapdos.
Niantic announced Zapdos’ appearance on the official Pokémon GO Twitter account:
Zapdos is now available in five-star raids until October 2 at 1 p.m. PDT! Remember to play responsibly and to use a Remote Raid Pass when necessary. pic.twitter.com/fgDhYL8ceU

Plus, it was also mentioned in the October 2020 Events blog post, noting the specific time frame: “From Friday, September 25, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. [PT] to Friday, October 2, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Zapdos will be available to challenge in five-star raids.”
Good luck catching Zapdos, Trainers! And please stay safe when you’re playing Pokémon GO out in the wild!
