OK, I know he’s a toy. I know he’s made of plastic. I know that, given these facts, it’s pretty impressive that Woody can pull off moves like this. But I’ve also seen four movies starring the guy, and I know he’s better than this.
A new promo clip for Just Dance 2021 shows footage of the iconic Toy Story track, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” with Andy’s best bud dancing away as other characters from the movies scroll past in the background. It’s a fun addition to the game, but Woody’s stoic, lifeless face is kind of distracting — and hilarious.
Not to go all fashion police on Woody, but that pink glove doesn’t quite match the cowboy aesthetic, either.
A couple of other promos for the game were also released, featuring a song called “Yameen Yasar” by DJ Absi, if that’s your thing:
Blink twice if you need help, Woody — heck, do anything with your face so we know you’re OK.
