Face masks and other kinds of coverings have become a much more common sight in the west due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. In Japan and other Asian countries though, there was nothing odd about seeing them in public settings for health related reasons. That prevalence leads to profitability, as seen in these cute new masks themed to Nintendo’s pinkest, puffiest hero – Kirby!

Available from the Japanese Premium Bandai storefront, there will be two varieties sold as a set. The pink Kirby mask goes for a relatively simple look, while the purple adds in elements like blocks, the Star Rod, and more. These Chara-Masks feature multiple layers, though it’s also noted they feature no additional filtration.

The Kirby face masks can be ordered until October 14th, with shipments planned for sometime in January 2021, for 1650 yen. While Premium Bandai does have an English/International storefront, the Kirby Chara-Masks are not presently featured there.
