Projectile spamming. We’ve all been guilty of it in fighting games, and maybe even other genres. Why wouldn’t we be? You can’t get punched if someone’s on the other side of the screen taking fireball after fireball to the chin, after all.
Well the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate online tournament event is having none of that.

That’s right, we’re getting up close and personal for this one! The theme this time isn’t so much a theme as it is a restriction. No arrows, no missiles, no Hadokens, and most blatantly no Mega Man. Depending on your character of choice this could be a tricky tourney or just another weekend.
Put that close range prowess to the test when this tournament event begins on September 18th.
