While we knew we’d be learning more about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity on September 26th, it’s sounding like Koei Tecmo has bigger plans than we anticipated. As part of Tokyo Game Show’s online programming, Age of Calamity will get a whole 50 minute presentation for gameplay and character introductions.

This is likely the largest look at the game we’ll get for a long time, though I wouldn’t compare it to something like a Direct. This is also, at present, an announcement only for Japan and it’s likely the showcase would not be subtitled. It’s possible then that any information revealed would be shared in an abridged form per the “9/26” tease in Age of Calamity’s debut trailer.
Regardless, you can look forward to this large look at Breath of the Wild’s past set for September 26th, or 6 a.m. PT September 26th in America. Note the above video begins an hour ahead of that for an Atelier Ryza 2 showcase.
