While Puyo themselves would be the most recognizable, the Puyo Puyo series’ true mascot would be a little yellow fellow by the name of Carbuncle. These days Carby pals around with main character Arle, but if you’re in Japan you may be able to get in on some of that companionship yourself.
This gold Carbuncle necklace will be sold on Japanese site AMNIBUS for 5000 yen. It features Carbuncle resting on some clouds, as depicted in the accompanying illustration. Orders will also come with a matching vanity case for the necklace, but sadly no ruby embedded in Carby’s forehead. Orders will be open until October 12th, and are accepted to ship sometime in January 2021.
