Now, hear me out. Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an adorable game. We can all agree on that fact, right? It’s precious, easy on the eyes, with lots of curves and round shapes and soft textures – easy translatable to tons of other artful mediums.

So, I can’t be the only one who’s ever thought that Animal Crossing looks delicious to eat, right?

According to Twitter, I’m not alone. @YuicihiroG, who goes by the name WHIP SUGAR, is a cookie artist that makes fantastic creations using royal icing. And while their account is primarily in Japanese, it’s more than easy to enjoy the masterful works they post both on Twitter and YouTube, even if you don’t speak the language.

Unsurprisingly, given the popularity of New Horizons, some of their latest creations involve a number of characters from the game, including villagers like Rosie and Apollo, and special NPCs like Rover, Celeste, and Blathers.

Not only are these icing creations impressive in their own right, but they’re also scarily accurate to the actual game models. That’s impressive considering the small scale and fickle nature of the materials that the artist is working with. Most frustratingly, though, is how delicious each cookie looks. As much as I’d hate to take a bite out of Marshal, I’ve also never wanted to do something more than to take a bite out of Marshal.

The artist’s collection of Marshal cookies is my personal favorite, in case you couldn’t tell.

Not only can you enjoy the high-quality images they post to their Twitter, but you can check out the full process for a lot of the cookies on the WHIP SUGAR YouTube channel. It is an absolute joy to watch the step-by-step process if you’re a fan of cooking or baking videos in genera – and even more so if you’re into things like Pokémon and Animal Crossing.

Speaking of Pokémon, most of the artist’s decorations are of different ‘mons from that franchise, so even if you’re not big on Animal Crossing, there might still be something for you with this account.

I highly recommend giving them a look or a follow to help support their artistic endeavors. Everything they post is absolute gold, and even if it might make you hungry, it’s definitely worth it.
