Hatsune Miku’s worn more outfits than anyone could possibly remember at this point, but I have a feeling this latest one is going to stand out. As part of a collaboration for the latest Digimon Adventure anime series, Miku is digivolving into the most recognizable Digimon of all — Agumon!
The Nendoroid Hatsune Miku Kigurumi Agumon Ver. dresses the digital pop star as a digital monster, with her hair and tie still showing and contrasting well with Agumon’s yellow-orange color. She’ll come with three different expressions, along with the iconic goggles of Digimon’s original main character Taichi and a butterfly to evoke the series’ original theme song.
Reservations are now open on the Japanese Premium Bandai store, with the figure selling for 5,500 yen. Orders are expected to be delivered sometime in or after May 2021.
