The illustrious pantheon of Dr. Mario World physicians has already bestowed medical licenses on beloved Mario icons such as the Dolphin from Super Mario World, but another aquatic practitioner who’s sworn by the Hippocratic Oath is on their way tonight at 11 p.m. PT – Dr. Blooper.

The beloved squid has many arms with which to perform surgery, and yet more arms with which to hug you, so why not roll for him? Look into those wide, unblinking eyes. He’s your friend. Your pal. Your Blooper Buddy. Not to mention the fact that he’s an inspiration – what other cephalopod has an MD? That’s right, none. Treasure this good doctor for all he’s worth, I say.
