Nintendo is planning to hold a special management briefing session on Wednesday, September 16th — just three days after Super Mario Bros.’ 35th anniversary.
According to journalist David Gibson, the meeting will be held in Tokyo instead of near Nintendo’s headquarters in Kyoto and will contain no new announcements of products or services.
Nintendo just announced that it will have a Management Briefing Session on 16th Sept in Tokyo, but also said no new products, services etc will be announced then. Direct before then? Would hope so.

Gibson speculates a Nintendo Direct could be held before the meeting, but this has not been confirmed by anyone at Nintendo.
Only one first-party Nintendo title — Pikmin 3 Deluxe — is on the company’s release schedule for the rest of the year, meaning no other first-party game releases for 2020 are publicly known.
What do you think the brief sessions means as far as Nintendo’s plans for the rest of 2020? Let us know in the comments!
