Atooi Collection for the Nintendo 3DS physical edition releasing Friday, August 7th

Limited Run Games and Atooi are thrilled to announce that the Atooi Collection for the Nintendo 3DS can finally shake away its “to be announced” release status. Get ready for this limited run pressing as the game drops on Friday, August 7th!

Initially announced during Limited Run Game’s E3 2019, the game has been popping up in the news cycle this year thanks to it being the only physical 3DS game being released in 2020. Limited Run Games added more speculation fuel to a passionate fanbase’s hopes, mentioning that if Atooi Collection is successful, the company would be open to more 3DS releases. Now, if you’re hoping for more physical 3DS games from Limited Run Games, you’ll need to support the cause with your wallet.

The Atooi Collection contains five of Atooi’s games – Mutant Mudds Deluxe, Mutant Mudds: Super Challenge, Bomb Monkey, Xeodrifter, and Chicken Wiggle. Available in Standard and Limited editions, both options will drop at two different times on Friday, August 7th. The first batch will be available at 7 a.m. PT | 10 a.m. ET and the second will drop at 3 p.m. PT | 6 p.m. ET.   

There isn’t a published price for the Standard edition, but the Limited edition will be $69.99 and is packed with goodies: alternative 3DS covers, 4 disc soundtrack, sticker set, and a board game version of Mutant Mudds Deluxe from Game Decks.

While it has felt longer than 13 months, the timing couldn’t be better. Atooi is turning 5 years old next week, and what better way to celebrate than to release a collection of their work!
