Prepare yourselves demon slayers, Bloodstained: Curse of The Moon 2 is receiving two new updates with one launching today! Players can now download the Ver. 1.3.0 update on all systems to gain access to a brand new “Legend” style mode. This difficulty setting is the next step above Veteran. Legend style will add more monsters to the already hectic battlefield and significantly increase all enemy damage. Check out the trailer for the new mode below!
Unfortunately, an issue was discovered by the development team within the new update, but an emergency patch (Ver. 1.3.1) has already been submitted to all platforms. The Ver. 1.3.1 update is already live on PlayStation 4 and Steam, but Switch and Xbox have yet to receive a release date. Inti Creates has reassured though that the update will launch when they are ready to distribute. The developer provided the following patch notes below:
- An issue that was causing the game to not auto-save after exiting BOSS RUSH Mode has been fixed.
- An issue that was causing the game to sometimes not copy over difficulty settings when save data was copied on the FILE SELECT screen has been fixed
- Until the Ver. 1.3.1 patch is live, users on platforms still playing on Ver 1.3.0 can implement a work-around to the first issue by starting BOSS RUSH mode once more from the Title Screen after exiting BOSS RUSH once. This will trigger the game to auto-save.
