Few labors of love are more intensive than fan animations — especially those that are several minutes long. Which is why the latest fan animation from Shigloo is scarily good, inviting you to a heap of Luigi’s Mansion nostalgia with a four minute-long tribute to the premier ghostbusting video game.
Shigloo manages to give nods to countless moments and memories from the first game as a Poltergust-less Luigi is driven throughout the house by all manner of ghost and ghoulie. The expressionism and humor in the animation is top-notch, and the result breathes a whole new life and characterization into everybody’s favorite plumber. It’s definitely worth the watch if you have the time.
