While much of the content remained the same around the world, Japan’s Nintendo Direct Mini contained a few unique announcements, with the biggest being Atelier Ryza 2. Thankfully it’s confirmed for the west as well, with a Switch launch in the region this winter.
The game marks the first time an Atelier sequel has starred the same protagonist – while others have had the heroes return as party members, they’ve often passed the baton to a new heroine.
An official teaser website has opened up with a countdown to July 29th, where more news is promised to land.
