Various magazines in Japan are published and bundled with some sweet swag- and we’re talking more than just a poster insert. For example, in years past this was the only way to acquire two promotional Animal Crossing amiibo cards. Yet, that’s just one example. You can the likes of small figurines, sticker sheets, pocket-sized card portfolios, etc. Depending on the magazine’s focus, these items can be branded and in the case of Kadokawa’s latest special issue of Character Parfait, it’s an Animal Crossing: New Horizons stationery extravaganza.

To promote the print run of the magazine and to give fans a better idea of what the stationery set looks like, an unboxing video from Kadokawa has been published on YouTube.

The magazine is available to purchase and import on various sites, including Amazon.co.jp. Just be prepared for a shipping estimate that’s higher than the magazine’s sale price of ¥999, ultimately making the total cost around $20 (based on importing to California, United States.)
