Square Enix has been making announcements more sporadically this year, likely due to the lack of an E3 to attach a conference to. The latest reveal from the company is quite the enigmatic one, unveiling the intriguing “Balan Company”.

As Gematsu reports, the “Company” unites Square Enix’s internal and external action game developers, as well as video and music professionals, to form a new action game brand. The name was chosen to evoke the cast members of a troupe, with the an upcoming video game being their “stage” to deliver “the ultimate story” and “the ultimate action game experience” to players.

The official website of Balan Company is available in a wide range of different languages and features a vocal theme.

Needless to say it’s all very mysterious, and there’s no guarantee whatever game is in the works will head to Switch, but thankfully information is promised “soon”.
