If you’re one of the over two million players who’ve downloaded Ninjala, a new Developer Diary has arrived on the scene to fill you in on what’s coming next for the free to play multiplayer game. While it doesn’t go into much detail, it does lay the groundwork for what these seasons will be rolling out.
After a quick run through of Ranked Battle for the uninitiated, at 2:51 in the above video the developers share that some new content will be on the way during the current season. This will include another episode of the Ninjala Cartoon Anime, and Ninjala Stream #2 to introduce the upcoming seasons more fully.
What we do know, though, is that these seasons will introduce new stages, Gum Weapons, costumes and cosmetics, Shinobi Cards, and will each have their own new Ninjala Pass. It was also teased that Season 2 will include some kind of collaboration content, while Season 3 will introduce both Spectator Mode and a new, single player story as DLC starring a different lead than the currently available story mode.
