Today Dengeki Online announced what many suspected, that The World Ends With You is going to receive an animated adaptation. While details are limited at this time, we know when and where we’ll find out more.

The year’s Anime Expo Lite, an all online and completely free event, will reveal more on the anime and likely give us our first look at it as well. For now a World Ends With You countdown site has opened, fittingly giving us seven days to wait for more info.
