It happened. It finally happened. Those amazing Nook Inc. “Aloha” woven button-up shirts that Nintendo staff was sporting at PAX East are available for purchase… and you can only buy them in Japan. 

Snuck in the Nintendo.co.jp blog post detailing the first Summer update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a new Animal Crossing merch collection was announced for Nintendo Tokyo. Embracing the design and color palette from the Anima Crossing: New Horizons limited edition Nintendo Switch, this 15 item collection consists of apparel, kitchen goods, towels, and accessories. Certain items will also be made available to purchase online via the My Nintendo Store. Below is a detailed list of the items, including their prices and availability. 

Note: Names of items have been changed slightly, swapping in the English localization of titles and names in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Numbers also refer to the numbers in the image.

There isn’t a set release date for this merchandise line yet, but it will be announced on Nintendo Tokyo’s official Twitter account

Guess it’s time to throw a message in a bottle out into the internet sea to see if Nintendo can make this collection available worldwide.
