In the vein of Negan and Noctis in Tekken 7, Samurai Shodown now has its own unexpected guest character: the Warden from For Honor.

Announced today during the New Game+ Expo livestream, the Ubisoft character brings the huge sword swings and catapult support to the 2D fighting game. The trailer shows the Warden performing multiple sword attacks in a row, which, surprisingly, is a relatively unique attribute in Samurai Shodown. The trailer frames the fight as the samurai Bushido versus the knights’ Chivalry.
The character will be released tomorrow, June 24th.
