Benelic Co. is behind the popular, “please don’t let my charging cable fray and die a painful $10 death” cable protector branded as Cable Bite. Starting with animals, the Cable Bite line was quickly expanded into licensed character territory. Pokémon, Kirby, Sanrio, The Peanuts, SpongeBob, and more have made the cut; and today the Pokémon line receives two new additions!

Munchlax has evolved into Snorlax and there have been reports of Mew spotted near cables. The two Generation 1 Pokémon are priced at ¥680 ($6.38) each before taxes and will be sold at a variety of retailers, including the Pokémon Center. Fingers crossed that these two will make their way onto Pokémon Center’s Amazon store page where you can import and decorate your smart devices with the mythical Mew and the insatiable Snorlax!
