As the years tick by waiting for Nintendo to announce a new Golden Sun game, or that an adept from Weyard will secure a Smash Bros. invite, the fandom behind the beloved series is busy making its own Golden Sun themed projects.

Today, OverClocked ReMix shared which game is taking center stage for their 74th free community arrangement album. It’s a duo of sorts, combining Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age into one massive project. Titled Golden Sun: A World Reignited, the arrangement album was made by 43 artists and contains 37 musical arrangements made by Motoi Sakuraba that were featured in the games.

There’s no release date for this free album yet, but hopefully “Coming Soon” means a summer release.

Illustrator, designer, writer and big Nintendo geek, you can find Jennifer with an N3DS within reach 24/7. As the oldest of three, she has survived many Mario Party, Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart sessions intact in addition to getting her brothers hooked on some really weird games. (Cubivore anyone?)

Hi all! I’m TSori, the director Golden Sun: A World Reignited.

First of all thanks for writing this article! It’s great to see the album and everyone’s hard work already starting to get some attention! I can’t wait for all the fans to get a chance to hear it! I think this is also a great opportunity for Golden Sun fans to show how much interest there still is in this franchise.

We are finishing some final release prep now but we expect to release the album within the next two weeks. Keep an eye out for it!
