In the world of animation, there are many different art styles and techniques. Pokémon, being made in Japan, is an anime and follows the animation rules of that style. But what if a Pokémon short was done in the style of western animation, especially from the 1940s – ’60s era of “The Golden Age”? The Pokémon Kids TV YouTube channel has answered this question with an animated short called “Chase The Beans” that is under the PokéToon brand. 

 

 
Scraggy and Mimikyu are like Sylvester and Tweety, Tom and Jerry, and Donald Duck against Chip and Dale. Full of sight gags and slapstick antics, it’s a cute short that can be watched by all ages. Definitely worth a watch!
