Mario Kart Tour is continuing to add more and more folks from the Mushroom Kingdom, but this latest duo is swinging in from DK Island instead. Both Funky Kong and Dixie Kong are coming to Mario Kart Tour, marking both Funky’s return and Dixie’s debut to the series.
The two are introduced alongside the game’s Jungle Tour, so anyone lucky enough to get these Kongs will likely have an advantage there. Expect new karts and gliders, as well.
It’s a shame these two aren’t playable in a more traditional Mario Kart, as they definitely stand out compared to metals, babies, and metal babies. Still, any New Funky Mode is welcome, even if it’s in Mario Kart Tour.
