It’s been 14 years to the day since Mother 3 released for the Game Boy Advance in Japan, and while we in the West are still clamoring for an official localization, there’s no doubt that the game has left a legacy in the heart of many… as can be seen in this touching rendition of the game’s 6th chapter, Sunflower Fields, in animated form. (HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD!)

 

 
It’s just as emotionally devastating to watch as the section of the game is to play, and is an extremely loving piece of sentimental art. Happy 14th, Mother 3!
