Games Done Quick is known for their huge, weeklong charity events that happen in-person and are streamed online, raising millions of dollars for charity. With the rise of COVID-19, in-person events are no longer happening, but the people at GDQ are still putting on a show to help raise money for relief during this pandemic.

The GamesDoneQuick Twitch channel is currently hosting a livestream of players from their homes running a huge variety of games in order to raise money for Direct Relief. The organization is working to provide healthcare workers with more PPE, and to help stock healthcare centers with chronic illness medications for those with preexisting conditions in this time of increased healthcare demand.

The stream is scheduled to run through Sunday, April 19th — and already, at the time of writing, the stream has raised $32,113. Way to go, everyone!
