The Nintendo Switch has welcomed several of Nintendo’s franchises with open arms since its launch, and while not everything has had its chance, it looks like one series in particular just got a bit of a nudge. Responding to a fan on Twitter, Rhythm Heaven creator and composer Tsunku♂️ said he, too, would like to see the series on Switch.
俺もそう思います!
みんなで声を高らかに!
スイッチでなら一人も楽しいし、みんなでも楽しめるよね。 https://t.co/Gut9l1kgrM— つんく♂ (@tsunkuboy) April 8, 2020
In the tweet, he calls fans to “Raise your voice together!” in support of the series, while also emphasizing the universal appeal and accessibility of the system.
While there are many more moving parts to making a game, Tsunku♂️’s involvement and importance to the series can’t be understated. It’s ultimately Nintendo’s call, but with how incredibly fun it was to gather around Rhythm Heaven Fever on Wii and the series’ longstanding place on handhelds, the Switch would be the perfect home for all its music and characters.
