Just a few hours ago, the LEGO Group posted the initial LEGO Super Mario sets to its official website, giving us a look at the pieces and pricing. Now, we’ve got an all new trailer of sorts, where LEGO lead designer Jonathan Bennink discusses the new concept.
In the video we find out that the project started four years ago as a collaboration with Takashi Tezuka, the producer of many mainline Mario titles and director of historic greats like Super Mario World.
Pre-orders will open in North America & Europe today, with the first set to ship on August 1st.
