Pokémon GO saw a big jump in revenue recently, seeing a week-over-week revenue increase of 67% for a total of $23 million (up from $13 the week before) in the wake of changes made to the game following the outbreak of COVID-19.

Downloads have also spiked considerably, as the changes made to the game to require less walking means that more people are playing it (especially due to increased free-time for a large portion of the populace). It can be expected that PGO’s revenue will continue to spike this way for some time as the game continues to accommodate the situation the pandemic has caused.
