Previously, we shared the Tsuruya Yoshinobu Kirby collaboration, which paired Pop Star’s hero with traditional Japanese sweets in an adorable way. Now it’s been announced that these Dream Land delights are to be available at the Nintendo Tokyo store!

According to their official website, the monaka were highly popular during their previous release warranting the Springtime return. They’ll now be decorated with cherry blossom themed patterns, but will only be available from now until April 30th at specified locations in Japan — including the aforementioned Nintendo Tokyo.

This is notable, as Nintendo Tokyo’s main focus are Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Animal Crossing. Kirby may not be developed by Nintendo, but the little guy more than deserves to rub shoulders with the likes of Link and Mario (if he had them).

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
