Ninatic makes more changes to Pokémon GO in response to coronavirus pandemic | Nintendo Wire

The cancellation and postponement of events continue to climb and Pokémon GO’s blend of a digital world and real life events isn’t immune. Niantic has issued even more changes for all Trainers across the globe — this time it’s all about Community Day.

Wild Abra has fled using Teleport.

March’s Community Day has been put on hold. The Psychic-type Pokémon’s celebratory day may return another weekend, but for now we’ll have to follow Pokémon GO’s social media accounts for future announcements.

To make up for this and give Trainers an easier way to play, Niantic has added the following offers and boosts for all players:

  • A one-time purchase bundle of 30 Incense for 1 PokéCoin. Incense will also last for one hour.
  • 1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during this time period.
  • PokéStops will now drop Gifts more frequently.
  • Pokémon habitats will increase, and more Pokémon will be appearing in the wild.

There is no current end date for these alterations. Make sure you have plenty of Poké Balls when you use an Incense, as Pokémon appear almost nonstop for an hour!
