The Worms series has been a local multiplayer staple ever since the original game released for every system under the sun back in 1995, with its turn-based side-scrolling mayhem proving popular at parties.
Now, three years after the last main entry Worms W.M.D., the series is coming back with another coat of paint. Check out the teaser below:
Given that the trailer highlights only the 2D entries, it seems like it’ll continue the trend of sticking to the basics, but the character design has seen yet another refresh. The video’s description also mentions that it will be Worms “like you’ve never played before!”
Platforms have yet to be announced, but given that Worms W.M.D. launched on Switch, it seems like a safe bet that the new game will hit the system, too.
