Masahiro Sakurai, the hardest working man in games, has spoken in the past about how his intense work life has impacted his health. He’s admitted in the past that he had to force himself to leave at 10 p.m. some nights, and had to get an IV drip when he wasn’t feeling well during development of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

In his latest column in Famitsu, Sakurai admitted that he recently passed out at the gym due to fatigue and dehydration. He also mentions being on a low carb, high meat diet during that time.

Hopefully, Sakurai takes it slower, since this isn’t his first health issue he’s experienced. If anyone deserves a break, it’s him.
