Shovel Knight is getting a brand new game, and it’s quite the departure from everything he’s been in so far. Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon is set to be a rogue-lite/puzzle game hybrid, where you explore randomly generated dungeons and chain enemies together for combos. You’ll be able to play as more than ten iconic Shovel Knight characters, and meet the brand-new Puzzle Knight on your quest. The confirmed modes so far include a Story Mode and a 2 player versus mode.

Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon will have its first demo appearance at PAX East this weekend, while a release date and platforms have yet to be confirmed.
