Shovel Knight is getting a brand new game, and it’s quite the departure from everything he’s been in so far. Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon is set to be a rogue-lite/puzzle game hybrid, where you explore randomly generated dungeons and chain enemies together for combos. Watch the trailer below to get an idea of how it comes together:
 

 
You’ll be able to play as more than ten iconic Shovel Knight characters, and meet the brand-new Puzzle Knight on your quest. The confirmed modes so far include a Story Mode and a 2 player versus mode.

Shovel Knight: Pocket Dungeon will have its first demo appearance at PAX East this weekend, while a release date and platforms have yet to be confirmed.
