While some people may not be attending E3 this year, the annual video game conference is still alive and kicking, contrary to public opinion. E3 2020: EVERYONE PLAYS is set to create a “more interactive and immersive experience” than previous years, according to Stanley Pierre Louis, CEO, and President of the Entertainment Software Association.
Speaking of changing the show, it was announced today that E3 2020 will see the “debut of an all-new floor experience that will be streamed to bring exclusive conversations with leading industry innovators and creators to attendees and fans worldwide.” While we’re not sure what this may look like, this announcement comes at a divergent point in the shows long history.
Registration for E3 2020: EVERYONE PLAYS is set to open on February 15th at 11:00 a.m. EST. For those who can’t attend, rest assured: there will still be extended livestreaming options for all the big companies’ presentations like Nintendo, Xbox, and Square Enix, among others.
Above all else, Nintendo will still be there, which means we’re still excited to be a part of the event. Do you have any early E3 2020 predictions?
