There are bombastic ways to reveal information, and then there are subtle ways. Netflix’s Castlevania has finally received an update, via the latter method, regarding the show’s anticipated third season, thanks to its official Twitter account: the first, and only, image from Castlevania Season 3 is currently being used as the banner image on Twitter.
Gracing the artwork are four characters, but only Carmilla — a main antagonist in Season 2 and a recurring boss in the games, is recognizable. Castlevania Season 3 will feature ten episodes and keeps the creative team mostly the same, but after that there’s nothing else known regarding the third season.
The animated series is based on Castlevania III: Dracula‘s Curse and follows Trevor Belmont in his attempts to save Eastern Europe from Vlad Dracula Tepe.
