There is perhaps nothing more memetic when it comes to Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE than this word, heard at the beginning of the song “Reincarnation,” which kicked off the original (and at the time surprising) debut trailer. It found its way into promotional material throughout the Wii U original’s launch, it’s played in the game’s opening, and it gets a full animated sequence for its performance. While that’s died down somewhat for the Switch Encore, Nintendo UK has decided to embrace and bank on their longterm plans to classically condition fans into singing along with a karaoke version of the song.
With this out in the world, consider it an open call to sing your heart out and share your own rendition of “Reincarnation.” And in case you’ve somehow avoided hearing it ’til now, here’s the trailer that introduced it and TMS#FE (the Wii U release) to the world, for old times’ sake.
