It’s been a year of growth and change in Pokémon GO, with plenty of new features and Pokémon to catch, but something that hasn’t changed is the fun of venturing out for Community Day events. Just like last year, Niantic is wrapping up 2019 by bringing back every featured Community Day Pokémon across a single weekend in December, giving you a second chance at those shinies and their exclusive Community Day moves.

The Pokémon that you’ll be able to find more easily in the wild will be:

  • Totodile
  • Swinub
  • Treecko
  • Torchic
  • Mudkip
  • Ralts
  • Slakoth
  • Trapinch
  • Bagon
  • Turtwig
  • Chimchar

They’re going even further back for raids, bringing back the 2018 Community Day Pokémon:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Pikachu
  • Eevee
  • Dratini
  • Chikorita
  • Cyndaquil
  • Mareep
  • Larvitar
  • Beldum

Those increased rates will be live from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in your local timezone on both December 14th and 15th, and any of these evolved into their final form during the weekend will learn their Community Day exclusive move up until 9 p.m. on the 15th.

Lastly, some other and more specific bonuses will be on offer during the three hours between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both days. Depending on the day you’ll have the chance to catch half of the 2019 crowd even more frequently, with double EXP, Stardust, and halved Egg hatch distances. You’ll want to have Eggs at the ready too, as the full lineup of Community Day Pokémon will be hatchable depending on the day. Get those walking shoes ready, stay warm, and mark your calendars for mid-December!
