Pikachu is pretty much everywhere these days. Head outside to park and you’ll probably find someone sporting a t-shirt or cap sporting the Electric-type; or make your way to the State Fair and it’s likely you’ll spot some Pika Pika prizes in the games area. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is no exception! As seen for the last 19 years, Pikachu has appeared in person, larger than life, for well over a dozen years now.

That’s right, fellow fans and Trainers: the gigantic Pokémon float will be soaring through the streets of New York City on November 28th — and this year, a cute snowman version of itself will be joining the party!

Tune into NBC at 9 a.m. in all time zones to watch Pikachu floating around in Manhattan. Make sure to check your local listings so you don’t miss out!

If she had a video game superhero alias, it might just be The Visionary, a true keeper of imaginative order.
