Yesterday saw the unveiling of a new trailer and character design for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, with both the footage itself and fan reaction being more positive than the previous ‘Meow?’ cut. Other than the obvious good stuff, like Green Hill Zone and more of Jim Carrey’s take on Robotnik, another little detail worth noting is a Puma logo on Sonic’s shoes. You can spot them and the rest of the Blue Blur’s design pretty easily in this Japanese poster:

Even better? Puma decided to promote the trailer over on their own account, and when a fan asked about ordering the shoes, they got a response about staying tuned for release updates.
Hey, stay tuned to https://t.co/a2bo9w0W9S for release updates.

While it reads as a fairly routine response and isn’t definitive, it’s sounding like those super fast sneakers could make their way to shelves soon. We’ll be sure to update with respect to date, price, and more — but for now, just look forward to more on the Sonic the Hedgehog movie leading up to its February 14th release.
