The next Pokémon anime season is set to break new ground for the series, with the plan being to showcase every single region explored thus far, rather than focus solely on the brand-new Galar region.

Serebii also reports that the first episode, which is set to air on November 15th, will be titled Pikachu is Born in Japan. So that probably explains the significance of that Pichu!
