Arc System Works has revealed five more characters for Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle’s 2.0 update due later this year. These’ll be joining the previously revealed Akatsuki, Blitztank, Yumi, and Neo Politan as part of a second character pass. Without further ado, get ready for fates to intersect and check out the trailer:
Celica A. Mercury, Elizabeth, Tohru Adachi, Hilda, and Susanoo will all be joining the roster. It’s a solid mix of characters and archetypes, with some of these having been highly requested by fans. In particular the villainous additions are more than welcome, and I know I’ll be putting some time into both Adachi and Hilda once they arrive.
You’ll be able to try out these characters, as well as other game updates, for yourself at upcoming events such as CEOTaku and ARCREVO America. They’ll be officially released on November 21st as a $24.99 DLC pack, bumping the game’s roster to over 50 characters and opening the door for potential, future additions down the line.
