No matter the truth or your ideals, Pokémon GO is bringing on some best wishes for all players with a new update later today. Gen V is finally arriving in-game, with several of Unova’s many species to be available out in the wild.

According to an official blog posting, Trainers will be able to track down Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Patrat, Lillipup, Pidove, Blitzle, and more. Several others are seen in promo material and featured in other aspects of the games too, like Eggs and Raids. Get to steppin’, as the following will be added to Eggs:

  • 2 km Eggs: Patrat, Lillipup, Purrloin, Pidove
  • 5 km Eggs: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Blitzle, Drilbur, Foongus
  • 10 km Eggs: Ferroseed, Klink, Litwick, Golett, Deino

For those more into battling, Raids will be adding Patrat and Lillipup, as well as Klink (who’s unobtainable in the wild). Based on previous reports on the Ultra Bonuses, all three of these will be available in their Shiny variants as well. That all sounds like plenty to keep players busy enough, but there’s more! Some new regional exclusive Pokémon have been detailed as well.

  • Asia-Pacific: Pansage, the Grass Monkey Pokémon
  • Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Pansear, the High Temp Pokémon
  • The Americas and Greenland: Panpour, the Spray Pokémon
  • Western hemisphere: Heatmor, the Anteater Pokémon
  • Eastern hemisphere: Durant, the Iron Ant Pokémon

So while you might spot a Panpour or Heatmor here in America, better have some at the ready to trade next time you’re traveling.

Lastly, for Pokémon who evolve via stone from Gen V, the new Unova Stone item will be showing up in Research Breakthroughs. Only Litwick’s evolutionary line is referenced in respect to the Unova Stone, but it will presumably also be needed for Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Eelectrick, Munna, and Minccino. Whether Cottonee and Petilil will use it or the existing Sun Stone (as they did in-game) remains to be seen, as does which of these listed Pokémon otherwise unannounced will be in the update.

You’ll start seeing all these new additions in Pokémon GO later today, so be ready to keep catchin’ ‘em all and show us what you manage to get for this Unova debut!
