Next Pokémon anime season will be set across all regions | Nintendo Wire

Like clockwork we have a new Pokémon anime season on the way to coincide with the latest new generation of games, but rather than simply send Ash to Galar it seems like we’re getting something a lot more adventurous.

As reported by Serebii, the announcement of the new season confirms that its title will just be “Pocket Monsters”, like the very first run in 1997, and that it will be set across all regions. The first teaser trailer, which you can see below, highlights all the different starters from around the PokéWorld.

That’s all we know for now though. We don’t know if Ash will stick around, whether it’ll be a reboot or continuation, if the Sun & Moon anime art direction will stick around…

Thankfully we don’t have long to wait to find out, as a full reveal is promised for September 29, 2019.

Always excited to see something a little bit different, Tom is ready to report on games of all shapes and sizes, whether they be wonderful or weird (or, better yet, both.) Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
