Back in June we reported on a new book being put together by Shigesato Itoi’s publishing company, Hobonichi, that would compile the writings of the late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata. Soon after, a worldwide audience started clamoring for the book to be released in other languages, and now it’s been confirmed that localizations are in the works.

As announced via Hobonichi’s official website with an English post, the book, titled Iwata-san, is being prepared for release in “various languages” in partnership with the Tuttle-Mori Agency. Official updates on when it will be released are set to be shared via the new official English Twitter account.

The post also asks that fans don’t provide unofficial translations, as it would be a violation of copyright.

We’ll be sure to bring you all the latest on the book’s status as it comes in.
